Teltonika TRB141 power supply and cables
Need power for a Teltonika TRB141? It is a 4G gateway that takes 9 to 30 V DC, and all three of our cables fit its 4-pin socket.

12/24 V car cable
For 12 V cars and 24 V trucks, passing 9 to 30 V straight through.

Screw terminal cable
For DC rails, batteries and solar. Green and white bring out the I/O.
About the Teltonika TRB141
The TRB141 is an I/O gateway. It has no Ethernet port at all. Instead it brings a 16-pin connector with three digital inputs, an analog input and two relays, plus two more I/O pins on the power socket, and talks to the world over LTE Cat 1.
It is built for remote monitoring and switching: pump stations, gates, alarms and anything else where a few signals need to reach the cloud.

Power socket pinout
| Pin | Function | Our wire |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Power (+) | Red |
| 2 | Ground (-) | Black |
| 3 | I/O pin | Green |
| 4 | I/O pin | White |
The car cable and the 230 V supply only use pins 1 and 2. The I/O wires are on the screw terminal cable.
How much power the TRB141 draws
Teltonika's power table puts the Teltonika TRB141 at 0.73 W idle and 6.5 W flat out at 12 V. In current that is about 545 mA, against the 1500 mA our supply can give.
Which cable should I pick?
- Wall socket. The simple choice indoors: plug in and the TRB141 starts.
- Vehicle. For 12 V cars and 24 V trucks, passing 9 to 30 V straight through.
- Cabinet, battery or solar. For DC rails, batteries and solar. Green and white bring out the I/O. Add a 2 A slow-blow fuse near the source.
Install tips
- Relays switching inductive loads can feed noise back into the supply. Keep the relay wiring and the power cable apart, and use a separate supply for the load if you can.
- Use a decent supply. Teltonika warns that cheap adapters can send voltage spikes when plugged in or unplugged, and those spikes can damage the router.
- Do not let the cable hang from the plug. A cable tie a few centimetres from the socket stops vibration from working it loose.
Teltonika TRB141 power FAQ
?What is the input voltage range of the Teltonika TRB141?
Teltonika specifies 9 to 30 V DC for the Teltonika TRB141. Both 12 V and 24 V supplies sit comfortably inside that window.
?Does the Teltonika TRB141 come with a power supply?
New units usually ship with a 9 V wall adapter. A second cable makes sense for spares, a second site, or an install where a wall plug is not practical, such as a vehicle or a DIN rail cabinet.
?Does the Teltonika TRB141 get its I/O through your cable?
Only the two I/O pins on the power socket. The main I/O sits on the TRB141's own 16-pin connector, which you wire separately. Our screw terminal cable brings out the two socket pins on the green and white wires.
?Can I use the input and output on the Teltonika TRB141 with your cable?
Only the two I/O pins on the power socket. The relays and other inputs are on the separate 16-pin connector.
?Is the 18 W supply strong enough for the Teltonika TRB141?
Yes. The Teltonika TRB141 peaks at 6.5 W on 12 V, about 36% of the supply's rating.
?Is the Teltonika TRB141 included with the cable?
We do not sell the Teltonika TRB141. Our shop has three power options for it, and that is all we sell for Teltonika devices.
