230 V power supply
Fine in normal use. At full load with USB devices it runs close to the supply's 18 W limit.

The Teltonika RUTC50 is a 5G edge router with a 4-pin power socket. Here is what fits it, what it draws, and which cable suits your install.

Fine in normal use. At full load with USB devices it runs close to the supply's 18 W limit.

Best for heavy loads: connect to a stronger 24 V DC supply.
Peak draw is 16.2 W at 12 V, so our 18 W supply has less margin here than on most models. Avoid adding a power-hungry USB device, or use the screw terminal cable with a 24 V DC supply.
The RUTC50 is a 5G router with five Gigabit ports, Wi-Fi 6, dual SIM, GNSS and USB. Its measured peak draw is the same as the RUTX50's, about 16.2 W at 12 V, which puts it near the top of what an 18 W supply should carry.
It is used where fast 5G and fast Wi-Fi are both needed, such as offices waiting for fibre and pop-up sites.
| Pin | Function | Our wire |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Power (+) | Red |
| 2 | Ground (-) | Black |
| 3 | Digital input | Green |
| 4 | Digital output | White |
Colours refer to our screw terminal cable. The car cable and supply use the power pins only.
On 12 V, the Teltonika RUTC50 draws about 1351 mA at its busiest, or 16.2 W. Left idle it sits near 4.7 W. Our 230 V supply is rated 1.5 A, so the router uses roughly 90% of it at peak. Teltonika's 24 V figure is 15.7 W at peak.
Teltonika rates the Teltonika RUTC50 for 9 to 50 V DC. That is wider than the older 9 to 30 V models and gives extra margin on 24 V vehicles.
Any DC supply within 9 to 50 V DC on a Teltonika-style 4-pin plug will work. Our 230 V supply gives 12 V at 1.5 A, which suits the Teltonika RUTC50.
Yes in normal use, but it is close at full load. Teltonika measured about 16.2 W at 12 V with everything working hard. If you add a USB device, use the screw terminal cable with a stronger 24 V DC supply.
Yes. Only the screw terminal cable connects them. Green goes to the input and white to the output. The car cable and the 230 V supply only use the power pins.
No, the router is not included. You get the cable or supply you order, and the Teltonika RUTC50 itself comes from a Teltonika reseller.
