230 V power supply
Fine in normal use. At full load with USB devices it runs close to the supply's 18 W limit.

Need power for a Teltonika RUTC40? It is a 4G edge router that takes 9 to 50 V DC, and all three of our cables fit its 4-pin socket.

Fine in normal use. At full load with USB devices it runs close to the supply's 18 W limit.

Best for heavy loads: connect to a stronger 24 V DC supply.
At full load Teltonika measured the Teltonika RUTC40 at 16.2 W on 12 V, close to the 18 W our 230 V supply delivers. Normal use is lower, but if you run USB devices or keep it busy all day, use the screw terminal cable with a stronger 24 V DC supply.
The RUTC40 is an edge router. Besides 4G Cat 4 with a Telit modem and Wi-Fi 6, it has 1 GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.3 GHz CPU and Docker support, so you can run your own containerised applications on the router itself. That extra computing power shows up in its power figures.
It is used for local data processing, such as reading machines, filtering data and sending only what matters to the cloud.
| Pin | Function | Our wire |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Power (+) | Red |
| 2 | Ground (-) | Black |
| 3 | Digital input | Green |
| 4 | Digital output | White |
Colours refer to our screw terminal cable. The car cable and supply use the power pins only.
Teltonika's power table puts the Teltonika RUTC40 at 3.8 W idle and 16.2 W flat out at 12 V. In current that is about 1348 mA, against the 1500 mA our supply can give.
Anything from 9 to 50 V DC on the 4-pin socket. Our 12 V supply, a 24 V truck system or a 48 V DC rail all work.
Any DC supply within 9 to 50 V DC on a Teltonika-style 4-pin plug will work. Our 230 V supply gives 12 V at 1.5 A, which suits the Teltonika RUTC40.
For most installations yes, but it is close at full load. Teltonika measured about 16.2 W at 12 V with the CPU, Wi-Fi, LTE, USB and serial devices all busy. If you run heavy Docker workloads and a USB device, use the screw terminal cable with a stronger DC supply.
Yes. Only the screw terminal cable connects them. Green goes to the input and white to the output. The car cable and the 230 V supply only use the power pins.
We do not sell the Teltonika RUTC40. Our shop has three power options for it, and that is all we sell for Teltonika devices.
