Many 5G routers, including the Teltonika 5G models, have four mobile antenna ports, while many 5G antennas have only two cables. These Y-adapter cables close the gap: each one splits one antenna cable into two router connections.
The input is SMA female and fits the SMA male connector on the antenna cable. Each cable has two SMA male outputs, marked 4G/5G with blue shrink tube, that screw straight onto the router.
The antenna must be a 5G antenna. The adapter does not add 5G capability to an antenna made for 4G only.
How to connect
- Screw the SMA female end of each Y-cable onto one of the two antenna cables.
- Connect the four SMA male ends to the four mobile antenna ports on the router.
- Use the Y-cables for the 4G/5G ports only, not for Wi-Fi or GPS ports.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need it with the 7-cable roof antenna?
No. That antenna already has four 4G/5G cables that connect straight to the router.
Does it fit Teltonika routers?
Yes. It is made for routers with four mobile antenna ports, such as the Teltonika 5G routers, which have SMA female antenna ports.
Can I combine it with low-loss cables?
Yes. A low-loss SMA antenna cable can sit between the antenna and the Y-adapter. Its SMA male end screws into the SMA female input of the Y-cable.
