12/24 V car power cable for Teltonika routers: questions and answers

Running a Teltonika router in a car or van? These are the questions people ask most about our 12/24 V car power cable, each with a short answer. If yours is missing, write to us.

Questions customers ask

Will it fit my Teltonika router?

Yes, if the router has the 4-pin power socket. That covers the RUT, RUTX, RUTM, TRB and TSW models listed on this page, the 5G routers included. If your model is missing, write to us and we will check.

Will the router stay on when I switch off the engine?

Not always. Many vehicles cut the 12 V socket with the ignition. If the router must stay on, use a socket with permanent power, or the screw terminal power cable on the leisure battery.

Can it drain the vehicle battery?

The router draws from the battery whenever it is on. On a long stop, keep an eye on the battery or switch the router off.

Is there a fuse?

Yes. The fuse sits in the plug, next to a power LED. The cable is rated for up to 2 A.

How long is the cable?

1.5 m

How quickly will it arrive, and can I send it back?

Orders placed before 13:00 on a working day leave the same day, and always within 3 working days. Shipping is €15 within the EU and €29 to the rest of Europe, tracked with DHL. You can return it within 14 days of delivery and you cover the return postage. Details are in our terms and conditions.
