This awesome Apple TV USB adapter, which also works at 12 volts, allows you to power your Apple TV through the USB port on your TV or another USB port, instead of using a 230 volt outlet. Alternatively, you can power your Apple TV through a 12 volt USB outlet.

If your TV’s USB port cannot supply the necessary amperage, you can use another USB charger connected to 12 volts. In other words, you can also connect this Apple TV adapter to 12 volts via USB adapter.

The power adapter plugs into the AC port on your Apple TV and then plugs directly into any USB port. The USB port must supply 900 mA, like most modern TVs.
